What is the Marketplace?

The AgriProspects Marketplace is a searchable catalog of workforce development programs designed to serve:

  • Learners and job seekers looking to build new skills, earn credentials, or change careers.
  • Employers and industry partners seeking training pathways for their current and future workforce.
  • Extension educators and program providers who want to share their programs with a national audience.
  • Workforce development boards and policymakers mapping regional training capacity.

Questions and Resources

What are educational endpoints?

An educational endpoint is the credential, award, or recognition a learner receives when they complete a program. The Marketplace uses standardized endpoints so learners and employers can compare programs apples-to-apples. Examples include:

Certificate of CompletionNon-credit recognition that a learner finished a course or workshop.
CertificationThird-party credential earned by passing an exam or assessment (e.g., pesticide applicator certification).
LicenseState or federally issued authorization required to perform a regulated activity.
Digital Badge / Micro-credentialPortable digital credential representing a specific, verifiable skill.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs)Units earned toward maintaining an existing professional credential.
Academic CreditCollege-level credit that may apply toward a degree or certificate program.
DegreeAssociate, bachelor's, master's, or doctoral program completion.
